When I first tried on La Panthère Parfum, I fell in love. The apricot and osmanthus are prominent, but the patchouli and musk add a lot of warmth. I couldn’t detect the gardenia much, but that’s okay. I imagine a baddie in a fur coat and lots of gold jewellery wearing this perfume. Absolutely stunning.

Diptyque Eau Rose is one of the most luxurious rose fragrances I have ever tried. It’s lovely for rainy days and indoor events when it’s cold outside. You’re wearing a halter-neck silk dress with your hair up. You don’t care that it’s cold outside. Inside, it’s warm, and you smell divine.

When I first experienced Maison Oud Sovereign Extrait De Parfum, I was surprised by the sophisticated dry down. The nutmeg and rose pull you in immediately, sure, but the iris and amber add so much depth and luxury. I would recommend this for a high-profile dinner party. The ambroxan in the base is very prominent, though, which might not be to everyone’s liking.
