Let’s start strong with what is, in my humble opinion, the absolute best fragrance in this collection. Donna Extradose is a rich explosion of vanilla with a beautifully boozy aroma. The vanilla feels wonderfully nuanced thanks to the rum at its heart, which adds so much character to the scent. It is my top recommendation for date nights or evenings out.

The second fragrance on this list is a controversial pick. Purple Melancholia is praised for its opening, yet criticised for an ordinary dry down that some find overpowering. While I agree that the opening is absolutely luscious, and I certainly wish the plum note lasted longer, I still enjoy the rest of the scent’s journey. The osmanthus and vanilla might not be groundbreaking, but they provide the exact depth and melancholic mood the fragrance is trying to set.
