Spring is about to end, and summer 2026 is knocking on our doors. This got me wondering: what new fragrances and fragrance trends will be hitting shelves as the seasons change? While there are many new fragrance releases this summer, a few of them stood out to me for different reasons.
I wasn’t surprised that many of these releases were flankers (sequel fragrances that spin off an existing scent). Many of these spin-offs seem very interesting, but I still stand by my opinion that they could have been their own standalone fragrances. That being said, let’s take a look at some of my favorite summer 2026 fragrance releases.
1. Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Pour Homme EDP

Starting with a men’s perfume, the new Light Blue Pour Homme Eau de Parfum by Dolce & Gabbana is promising to be an amazing summer option. It offers a higher concentration and a welcome touch of spice, which is lovely in my opinion. The patchouli in the base gives it an earthy, outdoorsy feel as well, adding depth and character to the classic Light Blue DNA.

Moving on to a women’s fragrance launch, Viktor & Rolf recently came out with Bonbon Berry Jelly, a sweet gourmand with notes of raspberry jelly, blackcurrant, and peony. Peony seems to be a dominant note in most of the floral releases this summer. Here, it adds a beautiful softness to a bright and colourful fragrance. This one is a compliment-getter for sure. I also recommend you take a look at the other two gourmand flankers from this collection: Bonbon Cola Fizz and Bonbon Caramel Crunch.

Viktor & Rolf aren’t the only ones launching a cola-inspired fragrance this season. South Korean niche house BORNTOSTANDOUT is launching Cola Addict on 15 June 2026, a citrus gourmand featuring notes of cola, caffeine, rum, vanilla, caramel, and a bright burst of citruses. This is one of the releases I am most excited about. I highly hope it ends up smelling like a classic cola float, and frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if it does.

Stepping away from the gourmands a bit, BDK Parfums is coming out with a woody-spicy fragrance that is remarkably citrus-forward. Silver Ceremony is quite spicy, and I wouldn’t have thought of putting it on a summer perfume list if it weren’t for all those fresh citrus notes. You can tell these elements are there to add a crisp freshness to a composition that is very warm otherwise, making it a highly interesting and sophisticated summer option.

The final fragrance on this list is another flanker. Tom Ford recently released a Parfum version of their best-selling Soleil Blanc, a classic summer staple. I hate to tell you (though personally, I love it), but we are heading straight back into gourmand territory. This version of Soleil is the creamiest and sweetest yet. I highly recommend it for summer brunches and yacht parties.
