As if to prove that 2025 was indeed the year of flankers, Burberry launched Her Parfum, an addition to the Her family, which comprises Burberry Her Eau de Toilette, Burberry Her Eau de Parfum, Burberry Her Eau de Parfum Intense, and Burberry Her Eau de Parfum Elixir. The fragrance was advertised via a gorgeous video ad featuring Olivia Dean (British singer-songwriter), set against the backdrop of London (very Burberry).
The Her DNA is found across all flankers as they’re all pretty similar scents but differ slightly due to concentration and dominant notes. My personal favourite was and still is Her EDP Elixir. The composition of the new Parfum seems to be similar to that, but as the notes come together to create a fragrance that transforms from fruity to slightly sweet, with a grounding, warm, woody base. Which is a similar overall aroma to the Elixir but with different fruits, a different sweetness, and different woods.

I’m gonna start by pointing out the very obvious elephant in the room, the cherry note at the opening. Which, thankfully, doesn’t smell like caught syrup here. It blends in seamlessly with the rest of the notes and gives off a very pleasant, subtly gourmand scent. If you usually don’t like the cherry scent in perfumes, give this scent by Burberry a shot; it could change your mind.
“Cherry makes me think of cherry blossom trees in the springtime in London when all the trees turn pink,” says Dean, the face of the fragrance. “You think spring is here! I’m excited.”
This is reflected very well in the promotional video created for this fragrance, in which we see Dean step out of the city into nature and be free with the birds in the breeze on the lovely expanse of grass. The artist also composed the soundtrack we hear in this video, further deepening the connection between herself, her sound and the fragrance.
Alright, back to the scent. Burberry Her Parfum initially smells like a cherry yoghurt dessert. It later dries down to become very similar to the other Her fragrance, with a hint of cherry, a little bit more creamy, and leaning more towards a musky scent. It reminds me a lot of the freshness of the OG, but with the sweetness and complexity of the Elixir, just not as sweet.
This is a flanker that you might not need to add to your collection if you already own a fragrance from this line. But if you don’t, or just ran out of your favourite Her, then give it a try. You never know, this just might be your new favourite.
