L’interdit Le Parfum is a floral fruity scent. The first thing I noticed was the absence of vanilla, which surprised me. Anyway, moving on to the note layers here. The opening is a blend of fresh apple and pear, perfectly balanced with creamy white florals and a fun mimosa note (a note that I have grown to love) at the heart.
As it dries down, L’Intedit Le Parfum highlights a gorgeous combination of almond and balsamic notes (benzoin & myrrh). These woody resins add depth, while the balanced bouquet of tuberose and jasmine adds a creamy layer to the scent, making it more complex and smooth. It’s a bolder and sexier take on the original. One that is more rounded and less stark.
What truly sets this fragrance apart is its elegant base notes. The patchouli with cool vetiver creates a beautiful finish that seals the deal. While I enjoy the different facets of the L’Interdit line, this particular flanker has impressed me tremendously with its unique blend of freshness, sweetness, and warmth, making it a perfect choice for winter and nighttime wear.
