When I was younger, I used to love coconut fragrances, and I was astonished to learn that not everyone did! But now, I understand that a coconut note can be overwhelming and cloying for some, especially if not done right. I don’t even enjoy most coconut scents today, especially not as much as I used to when I was younger.

Coconut fragrances are usually created for summer, but Mugler’s Angel is a surprisingly versatile fragrance that you can wear all year round. I would even say it performs better in cooler weather. I would definitely avoid wearing it in extreme heat. But some would disagree, so that’s up to you to decide. 2. Viktor & Rolf Flower Bomb Tiger Lily EDP

Coconut, mangoes, and of course, tiger lilies. That is what you’re essentially getting when you try Flower Bomb Tiger Lily by Viktor & Rolf. Keep in mind, tiger lilies naturally smell faint, but if you sniff closely, you can smell a delicate, slightly sweet, and faintly spicy or cinnamon-like aroma. Born in Roma the Gold Donna is a fragrance inspired by the vibrant colour of gold. I love it for summer and spring days. The coconut, mandarin, and gardenia blend so well together to create a creamy, intimate scent. I would describe this as the perfect tropical vacation scent for someone a bit more mature.

4. JPG Le Beau EDT

Le Beau by Jean Paul Gaultier is made for the guys who aren’t afraid to rock a sweet scent, and is definitely “reliable with the ladies.” I hope someone gets that reference. Anyway, Le Beau is a beautiful, sweet scent that I would recommend for summer date nights. I also recommend this for when you’re on vacation, for the parties that take place outdoors in a tropical location, specifically.

5. Davidoff Cool Water Intense EDP

I kept Cool Water Intense for last because it is the least coconut-smelling of the bunch. The amber accord and citrus note take over, leaving the coconut as a background note. If you’re looking for the OG Cool Water DNA, you won’t find it here. But if you’re looking for something fun and different from a classic line, then give this flanker a try.
