2026 has been a year of flankers, fruity for the most part. I’m not complaining about the fruity parts, as that can mean many different things, and these fragrances can range from tropical to sweet to clean. An apple fruity scent will smell very different from a mango or berry fruity scent. It’s the flankers that get to me, every time. In this article, I couldn’t help but include a couple of them, because it seems that the majority of designer brands have decided it’s not worth the effort to come out with new, original fragrances.
That said, here are 4 soon-to-be-released fragrances I’m personally excited to try.
1. Juliette Has A Gun Banana Rush (March)

I don’t like bananas and usually tend to avoid them. But this fragrance seems to be promising a caramelised sugary banana that doesn’t smell like a banana. I’m putting this theory forward due to the fact that it has a frangipani note which smell is etheral, floral, with some oily green nuances reminiscent of juicy tulip stems and shiso leaves, with some tea-like, sage-like and coumarin nuances. That is what I’m hoping to get from this scent, with a vanilla sweetness in the background, with a hint of creaminess that I’m hoping to get from the sandalwood note.
2. Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Magnolia (April)

| Highlights | Details |
|---|---|
| Brand | Dolce & Gabbana |
| Best for | Women |
| Fragrance Family | Floral Fruity Gourmand |
| Notes | Top: Green Pear and Coconut Middle: Magnolia and Ambrette Base: Ice cream and Musk |
| Release year | 2026 |
| Perfumer | Jérôme Di Marino |
This right here is another flanker from the Dolce line by Dolce & Gabbana, a line of different floral fragrances. Dolce Magnolia is set to release in April with a supposedly dominant magnolia aroma. I personally love Magnolia; my favourite Gucci Flora is the Magnolia version, which is why I added this fragrance to this list. To add to that, it’s a gourmand! With ice cream and coconut notes giving it an extra creamy, sweet layer. I’m excited for this one. Hopefully, I’m not disappointed.
3. Moschino Toy 2 Gummy (unknown)

| Highlights | Details |
|---|---|
| Brand | Moschino |
| Best for | Women |
| Fragrance Family | Amber Vanilla |
| Notes | Top: Hazelnut, Blood Orange, Bergamot, and Red Wine Middle: Praline, Akigalawood, and Milk Base: Vanilla, Benzoin, Myrrh, and Musk |
| Release year | 2026 |
| Perfumer | In-house Perfumer |
Toy 2 Gummy and Toy 2 Yummy are set to be released in 2026, with release dates unknown as of yet. I only included the Gummy version because I prefer warmer fragrances that are sweet-leaning. Toy 2 Gummy seems sweet, nutty, woody, and slightly lactonic, with a hint of oud. This fragrance profile is right up my alley. I’m also very intrigued by the red wine note. I would assume it would be a sweeter red wine and not a dry one, considering the overall fragrance profile. But dry wine would make an interesting contrast or perhaps come off as sweetened when combined with the rest of the notes.
4. Vilhelm Parfumerie Dear Lord (unknown)

| Highlights | Details |
|---|---|
| Brand | Vilhelm |
| Best for | Unisex |
| Fragrance Family | Amber Vanilla |
| Notes | Top: Bergamot Middle: Papyrus and Vanilla Base: Sandal Wood and Palo Santo |
| Release year | 2026 |
| Perfumer | In-house Perfumer |
Lastly, we have Dear Lord by Vilhelm. This fragrance seems like a less complex Eilish No 2. I would speculate that the aroma here is more woody and dry than Billie’s fragrance because we only have one sweet note in this composition. But then again, that one sweet note happens to be vanilla. Therefore, I expect it to pack a punch. I straight up expect this to smell like a luxurious yoga studio.
