Robert’s career included positions at prestigious houses. He spent a decade at De Laire, a company known for its perfume bases. He also consulted for P.P.L. (later Quest) and Takasago and held leadership roles at Quintessence, Sanofi, and P.F.W. Beyond his work, Robert was fluent in multiple languages and remained involved in the fragrance industry across numerous international markets. He was an active member of professional organisations such as the French Society of Perfumers and the American Society of Perfumers.
