Coro by Xeroff was initially launched as a special-edition fragrance but is now part of the brand’s Vibe collection. The Vibe collection currently comprises 16 fragrances, including Coro.
Coro is re-launched into the permanent collection in a bubblegum pink bottle, appropriately so (the limited edition was yellow). While there is no bubblegum note in the fragrance, the combination of notes emits a delicious yet primal bubblegum scent. Unlike most bubblegum fragrances on the market, which tend to be more playful and youthful, this one is more refined. I’m pretty sure it’s the combination of musk and sandalwood at the base that makes it so, but there is something animalistic about Coro. A creamy, skin-line scent underlaying the fun, sweet, tropical accords.
Let’s take a closer look at Coro’s composition and see what’s going on here.

Coro opens with tropical fruits, and gets even fruitier at the heart, featuring notes of mango and pineapple. I came to the conclusion that the bubblegum scent comes from the combination of these notes, specifically with the vanilla at the base.
The heart is also composed of a jasmine note. Jasmine is sweet, floral, and intensely aromatic with complex layers that include fruity, green, and musky notes. That leaves us with amber, musk, and sandalwood at the base, creating a warm, sensual dry down.
Erba Pura: Similarities & Differences

Some have compared Coro to another fragrance by Xerjoff, specifically Erba Pura, a sweet, summer fruity scent with a warm, musky drydown. I see where they’re getting at. A scent that starts off bright and fruity, yet carries a sensual and warm undertone. Yes, the concept is pretty much the same in both fragrances.
But I would argue that this concept is executed differently in each of the perfumes. While Erba Pura (one of my favourite fragrances) leans citrusy, Cora leans more tropical. One focuses on lemons and oranges, the other focuses on pineapples and mangos. See where I’m getting at?
When to Wear Coro

I would recommend Coro for daytime dates, brunches, or an important lunch… Basically, any event you deem important, but happens to be taking place during the daytime. If you’ve got plans that are leaning a little to the formal side, but you don’t deem your nighttime fragrance appropriate, Coro is your girl.
