Armani was founded in 1975 by Giorgio Armani and his business partner Sergio Galeotti, growing from a small menswear line to a global luxury empire. Giorgio Armani’s first perfume for the fashion house was Armani (also known as Armani Femme), released in 1982. It was a women’s chypre floral fragrance, created by perfumer Ron Winnegrad. The brand also launched its first men’s fragrance, Armani Eau Pour Homme, in 1984.
Today, the brand is divided into three branches: Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, and Armani Exchange (A|X). Each of those branches differs in price point, target audience, and style. While Armani Exchange focuses on fashion, watches, and accessories, the other two have an extensive collection of fragrance.
In this article, I’ll mention my favourite fragrance by Emperio Armani, Giorgio Armani, and the Giorgio Armani private collection.

Giorgio Armani is the high-end luxury line focused on classic, high-quality products. My way is one of the best women’s fragrances in this line (in my humble opinion). The Le Parfum version, specifically, is intense, delicious, and irresistible.
I’d recommend this to anyone who has tried My Way Floral but found it too strong, but still wanted something elegant that lasts all day with just as few sprays. The tuberose note stands out to me here and blends beautifully with the rest of the perfume.

Si, Parfum (not to be confused with the Le Parfum), is another Giorgio Armani creation. This flanker is a bold reinterpretation of the original Sì fragrance. Unlike the original, this version has a smoky undertone.
This is an elegant perfume; you’ll be able to smell the fresh and almost aquatic rose, with a suede leather undertone. It reminds me of a fresh and fragrant bouquet of roses, carried in a brand-new, luxurious leather handbag.

Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Giò Profondo Parfum is the ideal everyday summer/spring fragrance. It is light, refreshing, and aquatic. Overall, this fragrance consistently proves to be a crowd pleaser.
The citrus, mandarin, hits quite sweet, but you then get the usual acqua do gio salty marine notes. Straight out of the shower, summer’s day scent. It smells like holidays on the Amalfi Coast.

Stronger With You Intensely is sold as a men’s fragrance, but as a woman, I love wearing it. This, like the sandalwood version, should have been a unisex fragrance. It’s okay, though; no one is stopping anyone from wearing this magnificent scent.
Another Emporio Armani fragrance, this gorgeous vanilla is an addictive gourmand created to tell the story of newly found love. This makes it a perfect first-day fragrance, especially for first dates during the colder months of the year.

If you’re looking for a fall fragrance that is unisex but leans more masculine, Santal Dan Sha, part of Armani’s Prive collection, is an excellent choice. Santal is another name for sandalwood, and this here is a very intense sandalwood.
My only issue with this scent is that it’s an eau de toilette. This affects its longevity and sillage. But it offers excellent projection. This versatile fragrance can be worn all year round, but you’ll probably want to keep it on you.

As a Taurus, this fragrance was love at first glance. The gorgeous green bottle from Aramni’s Prive collection instantly caught my attention, and I knew I just had to add it to my personal collection. But the love story doesn’t end there.
The scent inside the bottle was even more impressive than the beautiful packaging. It’s a butter milk, vanilla, and coconut fragrance with a lot of jasmine, ylang-ylang, and lily. It would make a gorgeous bridal scent during springtime.
