Swiss Arabian celebrated its 50th anniversary last December, closing off the year in true Dubai fashion. The unforgettable evening took place at the iconic Armani Hotel, located within the Burj Khalifa. The night was highlighted by a touching speech from Brand Founder Hussein Adam Ali, who acknowledged the valued collaborations and team effort.
The brand also posted a message from Nabeel Adam Ali, the owner and CEO on LinkedIn, stating, “Over the decades, we’ve created perfumes that celebrate Arabic traditions with modern innovation. We’re excited to continue evolving to bring them even more unforgettable experiences. To our loyal customers—thank you for being an essential part of this journey. Here’s to the next 50 years and beyond.
Swiss Arabian is a UAE-based perfume brand that has stood the test of time. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite fragrances they have launched over the years.
1. Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud Abyad EDP

Brand | Swiss Arabian |
Best for | Unisex |
Fragrance Family | Woody Spice |
Notes | Top: Pepper, Oregano, and Bergamot Middle: Amber and Frankincense Base: Sandal, Oud, Patchouli, and Leather |
Release year | 2018 |

Many users of Shaghaf Oud Abyad by Swiss Arabian say it’s inspired by Interlude by Amouage. While this may need some time to macerate and age before reaching its true potential, it is worth it for the price point.
Shaghaf Oud Abyad is leaning masculine, but anyone can wear it. It carries the industrial bite of a tannery or a smoke-stained workshop, where leather and tar-like heat shape something primal, which you wouldn’t expect, given the minimally designed bottle.
2. Swiss Arabian Spirit Of Valencia Extrait De Parfum

Highlights | Details |
---|---|
Brand | Swiss Arabian |
Best for | Unisex |
Fragrance Family | Floral Fruity |
Notes | Top: Apple, Lemon, and Bergamot Middle: Jasmine, Rose, Gardenia, and Peony Base: Amber, Sandalwood, and Musk |
Release year | 2023 |
Projection | Low – Medium |
Perfumer | Hamid Merati-Kashani |
Spirit of Valencia by Swiss Arabian is an extrait de parfum, which means it is a bit more concentrated than the good old EDP. This fragrance also leans slightly gourmand, with a fresh apple scent and sweeter florals.
As is apparent from the name, the Spirit of Valencia was inspired by the timeless beauty of the city of Valencia. A scent that celebrates the dizzying breeze of freedom as it takes you to the intoxicating vistas and allows you to experience the classic beauty of the city.
3. Swiss Arabian Essence Of Casablanca Extrait De Parfum

Highlights | Details |
---|---|
Brand | Swiss Arabian |
Best for | Unisex |
Fragrance Family | Amber Woody |
Notes | Top: Fruity Notes, Grapes, and Apple Middle: Patchouli and Orris Base: Musk, Vanilla, Amber, and Balsamic Notes |
Release year | 2018 |
Projection | Low – Medium |
Perfumer | Isabel Gil Trujillo |
Essence of Casablanca, on the other hand, was inspired by the breathtaking city that rises from the desert sands of its heritage. If you’re considering between this and the original Casablanca, keep in mind that this one is a little sweeter, denser, deeper, and smoother than the original.
That being said, they still carry a similar DNA and both go from citrusy to sweet as they dry down. So if you have one, there’s no need for you to get the other.
4. Swiss Arabian Amber 07 EDP

Highlights | Details |
---|---|
Brand | Swiss Arabian |
Best for | Unisex |
Fragrance Family | Amber Floral |
Notes | Top: Amber, Dates, and Cinnamon Middle: Rose, Orris, and Ylang-Ylang Base: Sandalwood, Incense, Vanilla, and Patchouli |
Release year | 2021 |
Projection | Medium |
Perfumer | Paul Guerlain |
Amber 07 is an amber floral fragrance, ideal for nighttime use. I would recommend this for first dates, nightouts, and dinners.
This fragrance by Swiss Arabian is composed of dates, amber, patchouli, sandalwood, and a beautiful, sensual rose that holds the fragrance from top notes till dry down. Amber 07 has been described as a dupe for a few other fragrances, but I disagree. I believe this is a beautiful, unique fragrance in its own right.
5. Swiss Arabian Oud Malaki

Highlights | Details |
---|---|
Brand | Swiss Arabian |
Best for | Unisex |
Fragrance Family | Woody Amber |
Notes | Top: Saffron, Apple, and Pink Pepper Middle: Rose, Oud Accord, and Sage Base: Amber, Musk, and Vanilla |
Release year | – |
Projection | Low |
The last two fragrances on here are perfume oils, which means they will have lower projection as they sit closely to the skin. But they tend to be more long-lasting, which is a plus. The first being Oud Malaki.
Oud Malaki by Swiis Arabian is described as liquid gold. A classic oud fragrance mixed with more modern notes to sweeten and balance the scent. This rich and luxurious fragrance is a must-have for the winter season.
6. Swiss Arabian Rasheeqa Oil

Highlights | Details |
---|---|
Brand | Swiss Arabian |
Best for | Women |
Fragrance Family | Floral Green |
Notes | Top: Rose and Green Notes Middle: Aldehydic notes, Lily of the valley, and Jasmine Base: Mus, Sandalwood, and Cedarwood |
Release year | – |
Projection | Low |
The last fragrance on the list is a women’s scent. Rasheeqa refers to a graceful, elegant woman in Arabic. This is a strong, classic rose scent, but also fresh. It’s heavy but not weighed down. I wouldn’t call it green, and it’s not as airy as the aldehydes you might be familiar with.
The base notes give it a soft underlayer, but they are not as prominent as the other notes. Ragheeba does lean sweet, but the sweetness is rather floral. This could layer beautifully with many fragrances, as it will add sweetness to a light floral or clean perfume.
