The first-ever Gucci Guilty was launched in 2010. A beautiful amber floral women’s scent followed by a Pour Homme version in 2011. There are now several flankers of this fragrance, including some limited-edition and special releases for various occasions.
Today in 2025, Gucci announced two more flankers to join the Guilty family. Guilty Absolu de Parfum Pour Homme (for men), and Guilty Absolu de Parfum Pour Femme (for women). Let’s take a closer look at these two.

I love coffee in perfumes. I’m naturally drawn to amber fragrances with vanilla, almonds, coffee, and other similar notes. I love the warmth of these notes and the depth that patchouli adds to them.
This Gucci Guilty flanker adds everything that I thought was missing from any other version. I loved the other versions too, but this has that little extra depth and nuance that I love in fragrances. This is a versatile perfume, pretty much suitable for almost every season except extreme heat, so I wouldn’t wear it in the summer in Dubai. Otherwise, it’s perfect.

White florals aren’t for everyone, but if you don’t mind them, you will love this latest Gucci release. This right here is similar to the original Gucci Guilty Pour Homme, but is slightly richer and much smoother.
While the women’s version leans more towards gourmand and floral notes, the men’s version is an amber-woody composition with a leathery and sweet dry down. To be fair, they do both have gourmand undertones, but I’m not bothered by it, considering that it is not the dominant scent profile (I can’t believe I’m saying this as a gourmand lover).
