The first Nina Ricci perfume, Coeur Joie (or Coeur de Joie), was introduced in 1946. Developed by Robert Ricci and packaged in a crystal bottle designed by Lalique, this initial fragrance marked the house’s entry into the fragrance market, followed closely by the famous L’Air du Temps in 1948. This year, Nina by Nina Ricci celebrates a milestone anniversary of 20 years with the release of its latest fragrance, Nina Eau de Parfum.
In the spirit of celebration, let’s take a closer look at the new Ninca Ricci release alongside some of the best fragrances that have been launched by the brand over the years.

The second fragrance by Nina Ricci was L’Air du Temps. It came out in 1948 and was a great success. A vintage floral scent, L’Air du Temps, is a reflection of its time. A classy, elegant scent that is heavily floral. I hardly imagine someone young wearing this scent today, but it still has its audience amongst women who prefer more mature scents.

A lovely, soft, everyday type of scent. Nina Ricci Premier Jour is a fragrance that could be worn daily to the office or for running quick errands. It is light and airy, with a slight sweetness, making it very wearable. If you’re looking for a new spring or summer scent, give this a try.

The iconic apple. I remember seeing ads for Nina Ricci’s Nina when I was younger, specifically in the airport for some reason. The unique bottle shape and the versatile scent inside it gave this fragrance its standing amongst the icons of its time. This was the fragrance for the young, daring woman in the good year of 2006.
4. Nina Ricci Nina Fleur EDT

| Release year | 2022 |

Nina Fleur is a softer, cuter version of the original Nina eau de toilette. While it is a lovely fragrance, the reason I actually added it here is that I love the bottle so much. It is the same iconic apple shape of the OG, but with an opaque pink colour and kiss stains printed all over it.
5. Nina Ricci Chant D’Extase EDP

| Highlights | Details |
|---|---|
| Brand | Nina Ricci |
| Best for | Women |
| Fragrance Family | Floral |
| Notes | Top: Raspberry, Ginger, Lemon, and Pink Pepper Middle: Sea Notes, Jasmine, Rose, and Magnolia Base: Caramel, Vanilla, Musk, and Ambergris |
| Release year | 2018 |
| Projection | Moderate |
| Perfumer | Francis Kurkdjian |
Chant d’Extase would make a perfect signature scent as it is versatile and incredibly well-balanced. Unfortunately, though, it was a limited edition and has even since been discontinued. I just couldn’t help but add this wonderful floral scent that is low-key gourmand if you ask me, as it is too lovely not to be here.
6. 20th Anniversary Release: Nina Ricci Nina Eau de Parfum

| Highlights | Details |
|---|---|
| Brand | Nina Ricci |
| Best for | Women |
| Fragrance Family | Floral |
| Notes | Top: Pear and Bergamot Middle: Pistachio and Gardenia Base: Vanilla and Sandalwood |
| Release year | 2026 |
| Projection | Moderate |
| Perfumer | Francis Kurkdjian |
Lastly, the latest release from Nina Ricci as of yet, Nina eau de parfum. A simple floral scent that I personally can’t wait to get my hands on. I haven’t tried it yet, but the notes composition does look promising. I’m not crazy about pistachios in perfume, but I am a huge fan of vanilla and sandalwood. I also happen to love the scent of gardenias. As I’m looking for a new everyday scent, this looks like a promising candidate.
