Peach fragrances can range from sweet, juicy, creamy, or Lactonic, to fuzzy, velvety, tart, and/or tangy. Like most notes, peach fragrances will vary in scent according to what other notes they’re mixed with. That being said, peach is very commonly paired with vanilla for some sweetness or with other creamy notes like sandalwood and jasmine. This is attributed to the desert nature of peaches and their association with cream (peaches and cream).
I find peach perfumes to be incredibly comforting, especially when they dry down. To me, they feel personal and intimate, making peach one of my favourite notes. While I agree that peach is an incredibly satisfying note, I wonder which fragrance does it best? Let’s find out.
1. Viktor & Rolf Flower Bomb Ruby Orchid EDP

| Highlights | Details |
|---|---|
| Brand | Viktor & Rolf |
| Best for | Women |
| Fragrance Family | Floral Fruity Gourmand |
| Notes | Top: Peach and Vine Middle: Orchid Base: Vanilla Bean |
| Release year | 2021 |
| Perfumer | Domitille Michalon Bertier |
Many say this is their favourite flanker from the Flower Bomb line. It still carries the original DNA of flower bomb, but is much softer on the florals. It opens sweet and fruity with a juicy peach note and vine, but as it dries down, it gets slightly warmer. This peachy flanker sits closer to the skin and feels more intimate than the original. It is also more gourmand-leaning.
2. Jimmy Choo I Want Choo EDP

| Highlights | Details |
|---|---|
| Brand | Jimmy Choo |
| Best for | Women |
| Fragrance Family | Amber Floral |
| Notes | Top: Peach and Mandarin Orange Middle: Jasmine and Red Lily Base: Vanilla |
| Release year | 2020 |
| Perfumer | Sonia Constant |
Another peachy vanilla! To be fair, I did warn you in the introduction. Besides, this is the last one that is peach/vanilla dominant. That being said, Jimmy Choo’s I want Choo, while a pleasant scent, isn’t as sophisticated as the aforementioned perfume. I would recommend this for anyone who has just gotten into fragrances, maybe a teenager’s first grown-up perfume. Trust me, they’d love it.
3. Guerlain Peche Mirage EDP

| Highlights | Details |
|---|---|
| Brand | Guerlain |
| Best for | Unisex |
| Fragrance Family | Floral Fruity |
| Notes | Top: Peach, Blackcurrant, and Saffron Middle: Osmanthus Base: Leather, Amber, and Sandalwood |
| Release year | 2025 |
| Perfumer | Delphine Jelk |
Far away from the vanillas, we have Peche Mirageby Guerlain. A well-rounded, floral, fruity scent. The peach feels like it’s floating on top of leather and amber notes. The osmanthus at the heart adds to this effect with a scent reminiscent of a blend of ripe apricots, velvety peaches, and soft suede. Pechce mirage sits perfectly in a place between skin scents and sweet groumands in which it is perfectly balanced that it doesn’t leen to much to one nor the other.
4. Lattafa Afeef EDP

| Highlights | Details |
|---|---|
| Brand | Lattafa |
| Best for | Unisex |
| Fragrance Family | Amber Floral |
| Notes | Top: Peach, Pink Pepper, and Bergamot Middle: Tuberose, Jasmine, and Orange Blossom Base: Sandalwood, Praline, Amber, and Patchouli |
| Release year | 2024 |
| Perfumer | Delphine Jelk |
Moving to the brighter side of peaches with Afeef, by Lattafa (and to me being surprised that they didn’t add vanilla to this). This right here is a mood lifter. It’s a golden, peachy, sparkling amber scent that will instantly put a smile on your face. It is a versatile scent which can be worn year-round as well, I just wish it wasn’t named Afeef…
5. Tom Ford Bitter Peach EDP

| Highlights | Details |
|---|---|
| Brand | Tom Ford |
| Best for | Unisex |
| Fragrance Family | Amber Vanilla |
| Notes | Top: Peach, Blood Orange, Cardamom, and Heliotrope Middle: Rum, Cognac, Davana, and Jasmine Base: Vanilla, Indonesian Patchouli Leaf, Tonka Bean, Sandalwood, Benzoin, Cashmeran, Labdanum, Styrax, and Vetiver |
| Release year | 2020 |
| Perfumer | Tom Ford |
One of my favourite peaches and favourite perfumes out there: Bitter Peach by Tom Ford. Yes, there is a vanilla note in the base here, but it really isn’t dominant. This is a lovely winter fragrance that I would also recommend for date nights due to its warm, intimate nature. It sits close to the skin and envelops you with a deliciously warm aroma that you won’t be able to resist.
