How often have we found the ideal scent that suits us to the tee, only to discover that it would have evaporated off our skin by the time we’re out the front door? I know I have struggled with this myself. I had bought one specific scent that I fell in love with, but after I had worn it a couple of times, I found out it didn’t last long.
I found a solution for that specific fragrance, and don’t worry; we’re not here to gatekeep information from you on how to make your perfume last longer. I’ll tell you what I did in a bit, but first, I’ll list a few women’s, men’s, and unisex fragrances that would last all day long. If you don’t like any of them, keep reading to figure out how to increase the longevity of the fragrance you already have and love.
Note that the longevity for each fragrance in the detailed table states the minimum time that each would last according to their perfume concentration. Each of these could last up to 24 hours if you wear them properly and follow the advice given at the end of the article.
You must also keep in mind that fragrance longevity differs from one person to the next and from one location to the next. As for some fragrances, they can endure heat, while others fare better in colder temperatures.

Libre Le Parfum by Yves Saint Laurent is not just a long-lasting fragrance. It is also one of the most attractive, addictive scents I have ever come across.
This elegant gourmand perfume is the epitome of luxury and sophistication. Due to its warm accords, I recommend it for colder weather, but it would also wear beautifully in spring when the heat hasn’t gone on full blast. The vanilla note in the base is definitely prominent, but it is more of a boozy vanilla than a sweeter one, which gives this scent its mature aura.

Eros by Versace might have a bit of a reputation (if you know, you know), but that doesn’t stop us from putting this scent on lists from now ‘till the end of time.
I personally gifted this fragrance to someone very dear to me on their birthday. I tried it on in the store and fell in love with it. Noir by Tom Ford is a luxurious fragrance that will make you feel like a million bucks. If you read the notes of this perfume and look at the black bottle, you might be intimidated. Another star by Mark Des Vince. Sweet Dust has become my signature scent for the summer. I have habitually worn this fragrance every day for the past couple of weeks, but it is still only August, so you never know how long this habit will last.
I have noticed, though, that the clothes I have worn while wearing this perfume still smell like Sweet Dust even days after they are returned to the closet. The only way this scent comes off my clothes is by putting them through the wash, and that is pretty impressive if you ask me.

Stellar times by Louis Vuitton is a perfume that I get lots of comments on but I cannot smell it at all. For the cost I would like to at least get a whiff. Any idea why everyone enjoys it but me

There could be numerous factors as to why you are having this experience with this particular perfume, mainly:
a) You got used to the scent of it and can no longer distinguish it.
b) The perfume is simply not clinging to your skin considering that perfumes show up differently on different people.
If you believe that (b) is the issue here, try different ways to wear your perfume, like focusing application on your clothes or brushing it into your hair. If it’s (a), I recommend you try other perfumes with similar notes.
