You will find that most of the perfumes I’ve suggested here are warm fragrances, and that includes JPG’s Scandal, le parfum, for men. That is because these fragrances are naturally comforting and luxurious, which aligns well with the celebratory and romantic atmosphere of a wedding.
The main reason I included Scandal (apart from it being one of my favourite fragrances) is the geranium opening note. Geranium is a flower that symbolises affection, loyalty, and attachment. As for the effect it has on the perfume’s scent, Geranium adds a fresh, herbaceous character to an otherwise sweet and warm scent.

A variant of a classic. Paco Rabanne’s 1 Million Lucky is a woody fragrance with a hint of sweetness that will make your bride swoon. This fragrance has a hazelnut bubblegum vibe that might be too cloying if you spray too much, so avoid doing that.
1 Million Lucky is a woody fragrance with gourmand elements, which is something we don’t see much of. This was quite a daring composition by Paco Rabanne and a surprising departure from the woody spicy original 1 Million. It will definitely make you stand out on your wedding day.

Speaking of woody spicy perfumes, Halfeti Cedar is one of the best in this fragrance family. While I don’t favour the original Halfeti by Penhaligon’s, which is an amber woody fragrance, I love the Cedar version of this niche fragrance.
A more boozy take on the original. Halfeti Cedar is perfect for romantic celebrations. The best part is that this can also double as a bridal perfume. It is sweet, warm, spicy, fruity, and slightly boozy. Sounds like the description of a wedding if you ask me.

Back to the comforting, warm scents. Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne is a special one. I included this one in this list due to a story I’ve heard from one of my friends. On their first date, her now husband wore this scent. Needless to say, she loves it whenever he wears it and made him wear it on their wedding day.
Ultraviolet is a fragrant, spring scent with green, aromatic dominant accords. Its crisp nature mixed with the earthiness of oakmoss and the sweetness of vanilla creates a sensual scent. Ultraviolet also transitions beautifully from day to night, from ceremony to reception.
