Every time I visit an Amouage store, I feel like I have been transported into a world of olfactory heaven. Although some of their fragrances seem like an odd combination to me, they are still loved by many, and some of them that I genuinely fall in love with every time I try them, but may seem odd to others. So, without further ado, here are some of my favorite fragrances by The House of Amouage.

Lilac Love by Amouage is a beautiful floral vanilla scent that, in my opinion, works best in colder weather, but can also be worn during the spring (not a summer scent though).
Lilac Love opens with a mix of lilac, gardenia, and rose, a floral burst that quickly softens into a powdery freshness. There’s a hint of cacao, blending with the lilac into something warm and chocolate-like. Yet, it still manages to maintain its sharp and clean accords.

Hear me out, I know Guidance is a unisex fragrance, but I personally feel it’s more feminine-leaning. Can masc people wear this scent? A 100% yes. But I felt that this fragrance would suit more feminine people.
Guidance is a very classy fragrance. It is mature, elegant, and well-blended. It is the perfume that goes perfectly well with a maxi, elegant dress and a red lip. If you’re looking for a fragrance that would solidify your status as a woman of glamour in your everyday life, this versatile fragrance does the job.

Gold Man by Amouage is another exquisite men’s scent by this luxurious brand. The women’s version of this same perfume is also really good. This is a scent that feels like a gold veil has been thrown on you the moment you wear it.
As the story goes, Sultan Qaboos had this fragrance commissioned (as Amouage’s first fragrance) to be a gift to other royalty and aristocratic visitors to his country. It definitely smells luxurious enough to associate with something a prince or a king would wear.

I think everyone and their mother has already established that this is a well-loved fragrance of mine. I will never stop talking about how good this fragrance is. Forget good, it is captivating, exquisite, and magical.
Interlude 53 is a highly concentrated fragrance flanker of the original Interlude. It is a rich scent with warm notes and an excellent performance. A must try for every man.

Ashore by Amouage is a fragrance for the jasmine lovers (which includes me). There’s also a sweet, almost vanilla ice cream element to the scent. A thin, sweet, milky kind of vanilla ice cream, like a soft serve. A cool, delicate sweetness which adds to the loveliness of the perfume.
To top all that goodness, Ashore feels like a beach vacation. The solar note in the heart shines bright and adds joy to your day whenever you wear this well-rounded scent. This is one of the best daytime fragrances you can wear on the warmer days of the year.

Before I discuss the final fragrance on this list, I must warn that it is not a scent for everyone. Some might find it abrasive at first, but it blends better after macerating for a month or two. If you have purchased this scent and didn’t like it right away, don’t give up on it just yet.
Crimson Rocks is a fragrance that immediately transports me to a cozy autumn evening. The opening reminds me somewhat of kompot. As it dries down, it makes you feel as though you’re taking a walk through the forest at dusk. It is definitely a unique scent. I find it to be quite lovely.
